However before we begin, I would like to warn you that during the process of rooting, there is a risk of bricking your own device. So if you still want to proceed, you’ll be doing it at your own risk and we will hold no responsible for any form of damage on your device. Its a good practice for you to backup your device to an external source apart from your own SD Card.
*This procedure will only work if your device is running on Build UCUAMF3.
- Download the Active Root apk.
- Connect the Galaxy S4 Active to your PC.
- Copy and paste the Active Root apk to the root of your SD card.
- After you’ve do so, you can disconnect your device from the PC.
- Launch your file explorer from your app drawer ( if you do not have one, you can download ES File Explorer from the Play Store ) and look for the Active Root apk. Once you’ve found the apk, install it.
- Launch the Active Root app on your device.
- After you’ve launched, the app will begin rooting your device…
- Congratulation! You’ve just rooted the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active!
- Now head down to Play Store and download the SuperSU app to have root access to your device.
